"We got to stay at Hadley's Hotel after selecting a mystery hotel via lastminute.com
Graham September 2014
We were so excited when we read some of the reviews and felt like we were in for a bit of a treat and I have to say WOW what a great place indeed!
All of the old world charm hits you like BAM even with the renovation works going on we had no problems whatsoever.
The room was huge and was at the front and if we chose to, we could go out onto the beautiful balcony.
Everything you could ask for is within a short walk and the parking, although is around the corner in a parking station, is a little ten minute walk it posed no drama and in fact we actually preferred the walk rather than get in the car and got to see more of the city.
All of the staff will help you to the best of their ability even when we had an early pick up at 6:50 AM and the breakfast room doesn't start until 6:30 AM the man on duty (name escapes me) was so eager to see that we had some breakfast and rallied the troops to get some thing cooked for us, the hot food is cooked to your order so its hot and fresh off the cooker our very heartfelt thanks to ALL of the Hadley's staff.
ONE stand out staff member was Ebony behind the bar she was so pleasant and so easy to talk to but maintained customer service to all who attended the bar and we offer her a special Thank you. Her chocolate milk shakes she made for my wife to which she enjoyed every drop with her attention to taste and detail."
"We chose Hadleys because of the gorgeous décor and High Tea was the highlight of my entire holiday. I love this hotel - the most beautiful I've ever stayed in."

"Love love love this hotel!!! This is my kind of hotel...old world elegance, spacious fire places, leather chairs and chandeliers as opposed to all the concrete square boxes that pass for hotels nowadays.
Elizabeth April 2014
We booked a suite (not expensive) and couldn’t believe the HUGE space we had!! Leather chesterfield, dining table, a balcony overlooking the street, HUGE bed fabulous pillows...we could seat 12 in our room!!! We felt like royalty! Breakfast buffet was wonderful in the elegant dining room. Meals in the bar (can be eaten at candlelit tables) were great value at $15. If you like old fashioned charm don’t go past this place!! Round the block to everything including Information Visitors Centre Salamanca Markets and docks. Will not stay anywhere else if we return to Tasmania."
